Will there be an interview? Possibly. Some companies like to meet students prior to the start of the internship. If you are in the UK this can be organised face-to-face, and if you are not in the country, a telephone interview will be arranged. Whatever the situation, STAGES will organise everything.

How should I prepare for my first day at my work placement company? STAGES will send you an information pack with details of your placement company We can answer any questions you may have but we would strongly recommend familiarising yourself with the company's website and the Internet to find out about your work experience company, as well as the services they offer.  

What hours will I work?   Usually 9am – 5.30pm , Monday to Friday.  

What if I have problems at my work placement company?   All the companies we work with have been checked and approved. The STAGES team will remain in touch with you during your placement and you can telephone or e-mail us if you have any questions or just want to have a chat!
